Travel & Local Guide

Everything you need to find us, settle in nearby, and make a weekend of it in the Sierra foothills.

Welcome

The Clovis Castle sits on a private hilltop above Clovis, California, where the valley gives way to granite and pine. Here is everything you need for an easy, unhurried visit.

Getting Here

Up into the foothills.

Fly into Fresno Yosemite International Airport (FAT), the closest airport, then drive up Auberry Road into the hills. Plan for roughly a 30–40 minute drive from the airport and the Clovis hotels, and allow a little extra for the climb.

Where to Stay

Rest your head nearby.

A few good places to rest, from the airport hotels in Clovis to a casino resort out toward the hills, all an easy drive from the Castle:

Stay at the Castle

The Castle itself has four en-suite bedrooms and sleeps up to twelve, so the couple’s closest people can wake up right where it happened. Ask the couple, or us, about availability.

Getting Around

A note on the climb.

Shuttles & rideshare

For groups, we recommend Infinity Shuttle Service ((559) 529-0900) to carry everyone up and back with ease. Uber and Lyft run in Clovis and Fresno but can be slow to reach the foothills, so arrange rides in advance.

Parking

There is plenty of on-site parking at the Castle, with golf carts to carry you from the lot up to the celebration.

Before you drive up

Cell signal thins as you climb, so save the directions on your phone before you leave town, and top off the tank in Clovis.
